If Germany would have ruled the world after WW2, what would it be like today?
The best Germany could have done would have been to rule Poland, and gain a lot of territory in Russia and eastern Europe, as well as control of the middle east and a fair bit of Africa.
This would pre-suppose the defeat of the British Navy and negotiating a cease-fire agreement with the USA - probably to better allow them to address the threat of Japan in the Pacific.
Germany would have to, over time, cede back control of France to the French government, as well as to the other smaller western European countries. But would probably still have a great deal of say in the running of those countries, similar to the way the USSR influenced other Soviet block governments.
However, under such an arrangement, and with access to much of the former British Empire's over-seas assets, and keeping the US out of the picture, Germany would no doubt be a super power that would truly rival the US.
The USSR and USA would not have had access to German rocket scientists either. So it is very likely that German would reached the moon possibly as early as the late 50's.
The USA would find itself facing a far greater, more technologically advanced, and more dedicated rival than it ever had in the USSR.
